
Matt Filios - Founder/President
A serial entrepreneur, Matt Filios thrives on building innovative service-model businesses for organizations worldwide. In his 17-year career, Matt has played significant roles in the success of software development organizations and emerging companies including; JcIT Institute of Technology, Access Graphics (now GE Access) and Tsunami Consulting Group (acquired by Snyder Communications).
Matt co-founded Virtuas in 1999, and also founded SourceBeat Publishing, an innovative provider of real-time open source documentation and content. Virtuas and SourceBeat together provide organizations the support systems needed to be successful with open source software adoption and integration in their IT environments. Matt graduated from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Business Administration and concentration in Accounting and Finance.

Ken Mulcahy- Vice President, Sales
Bringing technology products to market can be an art form. It's been a passion of Ken's for many years, beginning in the Semiconductor Test industry where he held a variety of management positions including Test Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Product Marketing Manager, and General Manager, North American Operations after which he founded his own company in the IT Industry. Ken joined GE Capital, IT Solutions in 1996, where he managed major national engagements in the finance, public, and commercial sectors with Professional Service Sales performance in the top 2% of the company.
Since 2000, Ken has worked in the Open Source Software industry. Joining VA Linux (Software) in 2000, Ken made significant contributions to developing VA’s Professional Services Sales organization. After VA Software's reorganization, Ken was instrumental in productizing their Collaborative Software Development Platform (SourceForge) and closing initial product sales. Prior to joining Virtuas Solutions, Ken served as President of Tungsten Graphics, a highly respected Open Source Graphics Software Engineering company.

Francis Mitchell - Director of Education and Operations
Francis has over 15 years experience managing and leading education program development and operation process efficiency. Prior to Virtuas, Francis worked for Desert Mountain Properties in Scottsdale, AZ as Club Manager and Islands Restaurants, where he managed multiple facilities as a Regional Manager.
Francis received a B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

Bill Dudney, Practice Leader - As a long time open source advocate, Bill Dudney has been actively involved in fostering open source community development since 1990. Bill is a committer on the Apache Software Foundation's MyFaces project (myfaces.apache.org) and has written a book (Eclipse Live) focusing on the open source Eclipse platform (eclipse.org). James is a member of the JSR-152 Expert Group and is a frequent speaker at major conferences such as ApacheCon, Comdex, and multiple Java Users’ Groups. Jeff Genender, Practice Leader - Jeff has over 17 years of software architecture, team lead, and development experience in multiple industries.
