Virtuas Open Source Solutions and Novell to work together to provide comprehensive services to open source customers.
Denver, Colorado – August 15th, 2006 – Virtuas Open Source Solutions, the premier provider of enterprise-level support and enablement services for widely adopted open source software, announced today at the LinuxWorld 2006 conference that Virtuas has been invited by Novell to become a Market Start partner.
The Novell Market Start program connects Novell customers with certified applications from proven commercial and open source software and solution vendors. Created to accelerate the adoption of innovation within the marketplace, the Market Start program leverages Novell's certification and marketing programs, offering Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Solution Providers access to critical technical information and marketing resources necessary to develop and sell their applications with SUSE Linux Enterprise from Novell.
Through its Market Start affiliation, Virtuas will provide services for Apache Geronimo and other open source applications. This provides customers with an expanded range of open source applications offered with Novell's open source operating infrastructure, to aid companies looking for open source alternatives to their current business software.
